Fees & Payments
Rent
-
One month’s rent is payable in advance at the start of your tenancy, along with your deposit.
Deposit

A security deposit equal to one month’s rent must be paid at the start of the tenancy.

This is securely held in a client account as stakeholder for the duration of your tenancy.

The deposit is intended to cover damage, breakages, or other liabilities under your tenancy agreement.

After your tenancy ends, and once the property inventory and condition checks have been completed, your deposit will be returned (minus any agreed deductions).

Please note: your deposit cannot be used as payment for your final month’s rent.
Holding Deposit

To reserve a property, you will be asked to pay a holding deposit (usually equal to one week’s rent).

If the tenancy proceeds, this amount will be deducted from the balance due before you move in.

If the landlord decides not to proceed, the holding deposit will be refunded in full.

However, the holding deposit is non-refundable if:

you decide not to proceed with the tenancy, or
-
you provide incomplete or inaccurate information during the application process.
